Rubber Buggy Baby Bumpers
Not that I know anyone having a little one but it never hurts to have one in your card supply. This is a very gender neutral card so I could give it to anyone with a new bundle of fun. I also practiced my coloring with blender pens on the buggy.
I don't have any babyish DSP yet so I improvised with embossing folders and I think it turned out great. Just enough detail so it doesn't look boring.
Have a great Saturday everyone!!

The Tooth Fairy Has Arrived
My youngest has her first loose tooth! We've been putting The Boy's lost teeth in a plastic bag and putting it near his pillow when he looses a tooth. After getting this stamp, something definitely had to been done to make losing teeth cute. For The Boy I just cut two tags from my Cricut and put them together with Sticky Tape. For The Girl I busted out my Silhouette and cut an envelope out, embossed it and put it together with Sticky Tape. The Boy is no frills just plain and so that's what he got. The girl is the epitome of "girly" so I went all out with glitter and embossing. They both loved them! Now to make sure the Tooth Fairy doesn't go broke, I'm off to work, 3 days of training for public speaking =(

Chalkboard Love
For this one I just cut out the card in basic black then cut out some rectangles in basic black again. I rubbed all four edges of rectangles in white ink to get that popped edge look. Inked up Love You stamp in white and it looks a little chalkboardy....is that a word I wonder? Anywho, I ordered my first ever Heat & Stick powder from SU! and I love it! So cool and it really makes the glitter stick a lot better.
There are so many things I've gotten since being a demo that I would have never tried otherwise. A discount changes everything =) Heat & Stick powder and pop dots are two things that are going to stay in my arsenal of stamping supplies!
Have a great Monday!

Pennant Birthday
Does anyone else buy a stamp set with a card in mind? I do, I've been wanting to do this card ever since I got this set. I love that you take the party hats, flip 'em upside down, cut 'em out and they look like a birthday banner! This was such a simple but fun card to make, I think it's now one of my all-time faves =)
Ingredients
{Stamps} SU! Party Hearty
{Paper} SU! Bashful Blue, Real Red, Pear Pizzazz
{Ink} SU! Pear Pizzazz, Real Red, Pacific Point
Birthday Workshop
This class is $10 again and will include 2 cards and 3 treat holders. The blue holder in front I actually made myself, I templated it from a gift card holder and it holds 2 Ghiradelli chocolates. The red box is the 2-5-7-10 box on Splitcoast Stampers and then of course there's my favorite sour cream container.....I love this thing. I made 50 of them a few years back and it was so easy =)

Valentine Workshop...Mission Completed!
I trudged on and I had my Valentine Workshop this past Saturday though! This time I had one guest, a coworker and I think she had a good time. She loved the heart punches so that's always a good thing! (BTW-punches are my new hoarding thing, don't tell the husband) I also got to show her that SU! has so much better quality of paper, she couldn't believe how thick it was. I love how high quality our stuff is =)
Now I'm planning for next month's class. I'm going to do a birthday theme so I'm thinking 2-3 cards, a Ghiradelli chocolate holder and another candy holder all for $10. Chocolate is a good thing =)
Alrighty today is the start of the week and I was again unable to find a crystal ball to find packages for customers, if you find one, seriously let me know.....I really need one!

Decorating for LOVE Day
The first is our dining room table. This poor neglected candle holder has been sitting empty for 8 months. I finally picked up some super cheap candles and just tied ribbon around it. The "FAMILY" wood thingy sits perfect in the middle....that and I have no other place for it =)
This pic is of my blank wall. I have no idea what to do with it....it's big, empty, but I don't want to put anything there. Eh, I'll figure it out when I win the lotto...then I'll have all the time in the world! For now it's my holiday space. This is where my Nutcrackers were for Christmas. Since we have a fireplace but no mantle I couldn't decorate a mantle with a banner (like every other normal house in America) so I hung it in my empty wall. Easy peasy, cut the pennant triangles, Cricut did the hard work of cutting the letters and I glued 'em all on.
My creme de la creme was finally figuring out how do that accordian fold!!!! It turned out just like I hoped =) I felt so cool after I finished!
Here's another one of my ideas swimming in my head. I saw this in a Teen Pottery Barn catalog last year. Well not this exactly but it was a bulletin board with LOVE in blocks. I thought I could do that with paper {lightbulb} I had some styrofoam that was collecting dust so I brought that out, made squares, covered the squares with paper and covered the edges with white ribbon and cut letters with my Cricut......cute!
I have THE most lucky husband. Why? Because he finds the greatest deals ever. This candle is in a hurricane jar. Normally $25 but he found them for $6! See great shopper 75% off =) So again I took the super cheap candles and wrapped them in ribbon and punched matching paper hearts and attached them.
And now my decorating is complete...at least for now. Happy Hump Day!

TGIF....Stamping here I come!
So far I have a few people possibly interested in my Valentine Workshop on January 15th! Nothing definite but hey an interest is more than my 1st attempt at a Workshop so I am all smiles =)
So now on to my cutie box that I love! I got the template HERE on Splitcoast. And you guessed it...more pop dots! I adhered the hearts to the ribbon with pop dots. I love it because there is no lid, everything is one piece.....my kinda thinking!
Have a great weekend everyone! I'm going to spend mine playing with new goodies =)

Flamingo Love
When I put in my mini pre-order I didn't order Pink Pirouette ink. I have about 8 other brand pink inks, but not Pink Pirouette. This ensued a long discussion with my DH explaining why SU rocks because all the inks and paper match, he still didn't get why I couldn't just use "pink". He just nodded his head and said "yes dear" while secretly wondering why his wife is so OCD over "pink" ink =) So I had to improvise and I used some silver ink that kinda did the trick, although I NEED Pink Pirouette to have PINK flamingos.....oh and notice the pop dots again =)
Ok I'm done rambling....

Pop Dots: A Way of Life
This card could not be any simpler. It's a sketch from Paper Crafts magazine. I simply traced a piece of paper with a marker to create the red border. The pop dots make a simple card "POP" (haha get it..pop) It's the little things that make me smile =)

{Paper SU!} Whisper White
{Ink SU!} Real Red

When Life Throws You Lemons....
I really like the texture the accordion fold gives the card, it's not an everyday technique you would see....sometimes my screw ups turn out good, other times not so much =) I also used the rub ons out of the Occasions Mini catalog. This was my first go-round with rub ons...not really my thing but they were free with my order so they work.
Ingredients:
{Paper SU!} Whisper White, Real Red, Pink Pirouette, Basic Grey {DSP} Love Impressions

A Sea of Ideas
I felt like I neglected my poor blog that I had just started, let alone I got questioned by people who usually got birthday cards "what happened" "why didn't I get a card" Trust me I woulda sent you one had I not been in pain.....
So yesterday I sat and remembered some of my ideas that had been floating around and I actually made something without a pattern, template, tutorial or any help from a blog I stalk...um I mean follow =)
I've seen things like this to hold small hand sanitizers or packs of lip balms but not one that held just one lip balm. I couldn't find any tutorial that fit my needs so I made my own. My kiddos love flavored chapsticks, especially my girly girl. So, I made this for them for Valentine's Day this year. I made a green and yellow one for my little man, if I gave him something pink he might give me the evil eye...he's not too keen on pink =)
Ingredients:
{Paper SU!} Pink Pirouette, Basic Grey, {DSP} Love Impressions
1/2" circle punch, Sticky Strip
