Operation Santa Thank Yous

This is the beginning of craziness around here. For the next 6 weeks or so I will be heading the Postal Service's Operation Santa program for the Sierra Coastal District. This includes opening thousands of letters, weeding out the needy from "I wants" and coaxing willing coworkers to help write back to kids. This is on top of my already busy work by the time I get home I am utterly exhausted so my posting will most likely be very erratic.

Last year I co-headed Operation Santa and wanted to give a "thank you" to helpful Postal employees and wonderful people who helped needy families. I never got around to making them and promised I would this year. I needed something easy, not too difficult to mass produce and most important, cute!

I used my Scallop Santa from last year HERE and made 30 so far. I've been lucky and have received great response from employees willing to lend their time to keep the magic alive for children writing to Santa.
