Anywho, here's my card for the Color Lab challenge and A La Card Monkey challenge.....
I just kept adding until it looked ok. It started with plain pennants, no layers on the sentiment and no embossing. Then I remembered my very first SU! demonstrator Mary say, "Add layers, layers make a card." That was the best advice I could hear, I try to add layers on every card.....thanks Mary!
Here's my inspiration:
Ingredients:
{Paper} SU! Whisper White, Calypso Coral, Baja Breeze, Daffodil Delight.
{Ink} SU! Calypso Coral, Baja Breeze & Daffodil Delight SU! Write Markers
{Stamp} SU! Happiest Birthday Wishes
{Extras} SU! Pennant Builder punch, pop dots, Cuttlebug embossing folder
Layering is a wonderful thing! Good advice from Mary! Your card is a great take on the challenge - I love the way you've colored the sentiment. Thanks for joining us at the ColorLab!
ReplyDeleteI agree - layers add to a card! Great job with the two challenges. So glad you played this week!
