Full 'o Punches

I really never thought I'd buy the punches I do. I always said why buy a punch when I have a Cricut? But seriously I love these new punches! They aren't the same old punches in circles and ovals anymore.

I've seen these "ice cream cones" out there and tried my hand at 'em. I'm really loving the new Pennant Party set. I want to use it more because of the correlating punch but just haven't had any inspiration yet. I am glad I finally used my Postage Punch again, it's another where my creativity is drawing a blank.

I saw this color combo and decided to try it, the more involved it got the scarier it got. Finally I gave up and said "whatever"! Remind me if I ever get the notion to use these colors together to please smack me....not good but here it is.

I did like using bakers twine to give the inside some love too......

In a Groove

I like being back to my normal groove of making cards, the world is a better place to me =) Some how Summer didn't get the memo Summer and Winter are fighting and we're ending up with 95 degree thunderstorms....not cool. It's so humid down here already it's making summer much more miserable.

The banner on this card has been in my mind for a while but just hadn't made its way to paper yet. You could always interchange the colors and make this more boyish with maybe green instead of pink.

Amazing Friends

I had two amazing people order from me over the weekend. My awesome friend Kristin and her great friend Tiffney sent me an order the first day they could out of the new catalog!!!!

I had to make a card using the Blossom Bouquet punch 'cause it was staring at me on the desk so it worked very good as thank you cards =)

I really like the way they came out, very simple, but it works.

Found this paper in my hoarding pile. Looked like pretty fireworks so I added some bling and wa-lah!

Christmas in July

It's official...I have made my first Christmas card of 2011. It's 100 degrees outside and I'm dreaming of cooler weather and mistletoe =) I used the new pennant punch and matching stamp set for a super easy very non-traditional colored Christmas card.

I used pop dots to pop the tree up for a 3-D look and colored in the strand of dots to look like lights. Stickles or glitter would look cool too, I'll have to try that next time.

Beachy Vibe

I've always seen these kinds of cards, you know it looks like a picture but it's a card, not really a layout-y thing. Anywho I made this one and I think it turned out pretty ok. I even like the swirls on the blue for the water.
