Birthday Workshop

Now that I've had my Valentine's Class I'm moving on to another big day.....birthdays! Everyone has 'em and it's always cool to give a little something.

This class is $10 again and will include 2 cards and 3 treat holders. The blue holder in front I actually made myself, I templated it from a gift card holder and it holds 2 Ghiradelli chocolates. The red box is the 2-5-7-10 box on Splitcoast Stampers and then of course there's my favorite sour cream container.....I love this thing. I made 50 of them a few years back and it was so easy =)

Valentine Workshop...Mission Completed!

Ahh the joys of children. My youngest has infected her brother and myself with a horrible cold. All this started a week ago, she was sick for all of two days. Brother was worse and missed a day of school and for some reason I cannot shake this thing. A week now! This cold is seriously putting a damper on my crafting mojo, hence the reason last week so so sparse in posts.

I trudged on and I had my Valentine Workshop this past Saturday though! This time I had one guest, a coworker and I think she had a good time. She loved the heart punches so that's always a good thing! (BTW-punches are my new hoarding thing, don't tell the husband) I also got to show her that SU! has so much better quality of paper, she couldn't believe how thick it was. I love how high quality our stuff is =)

Now I'm planning for next month's class. I'm going to do a birthday theme so I'm thinking 2-3 cards, a Ghiradelli chocolate holder and another candy holder all for $10. Chocolate is a good thing =)

Alrighty today is the start of the week and I was again unable to find a crystal ball to find packages for customers, if you find one, seriously let me know.....I really need one!

TGIF....Stamping here I come!

Seriously Friday could not have come sooner! This is one week that was horrendous, week. I won't begin to bore you with how many names I was called! (It's not very G-rated) Now on to the weekend and stamping and preparations! Oh oh oh AND hopefully I get my big order from "the other company" aka Mr. Brown so I can work on a workshop for February (birthdays).

So far I have a few people possibly interested in my Valentine Workshop on January 15th! Nothing definite but hey an interest is more than my 1st attempt at a Workshop so I am all smiles =)

So now on to my cutie box that I love! I got the template HERE on Splitcoast. And you guessed it...more pop dots! I adhered the hearts to the ribbon with pop dots. I love it because there is no lid, everything is one piece.....my kinda thinking!

Let Me Share a Secret

We all have secrets, well let me show you mine.........can you guess? Yup I cannot decorate cakes. I'm semi-ok at baking but this is just plain scary. I borrowed one of those giant cupcake pans from my boss. I know what your thinking, "this is supposed to be a cupcake"? =) It started out looking like a cupcake while it was baking. Then while putting it together it became my Christmas tree cake...maybe it's a Christmas bush? Anywho I thought I'd show you why I decorate paper not cakes!
Now here's what I'm better at....paper and stamps and ink and ribbon! I got the tutorial HERE on Becky Roberts' blog (my amazing upline).


I have also lined up my Valentine Workshop! It's scheduled for January 15th @ 2pm. Cost is $10 and must be paid by January 7th. We will be making 5 "simple yet elegant" cards....I can't wait! Hopefully this one goes better than my first Open House =(

Open House

Sunday the 12th is my first Stampin' UP! Open House....come join me from 2-4pm and take a look at SU! cards and project ideas. There will be a Santa make-and-take tag too! If your in the Southern California area stop in and say hi! Just email me for directions =)
